Hear is a picture of one of the first tours Yanni did with a full band. It was a 10 piece band. I took this shot at rehearsal on a break.
Pictured starting from the left: Satchi McHenry (cello), Julie Ann French (violin), Charlie Bisharat (violin), Karen Briggs (violin), and Charlie Adams (drums). It was around this time that both Charlie Bisharat and Charlie Adams performed on my song Fridays Child that is currently on the new Weather Channel CD.

FYI - That is my keyboard rig on the right. The congas in the background are percussionist Kalani’s (not pictured).
I also posted a few new pictures on my website bradleyjoseph.com under “backstage photos”.

After 6 weeks “The Weather Channel CD”, which features my song “Fridays Child” still remains on the Billboard Jazz charts. I have heard from fans all around the country that have heard my songs play during their favorite weather on TV :-). I am amazed at how many people watch and listen to to the Weather Channel. It has brought me a whole new audience.

Had a wonderful call today from a lady in Virginia in regards to my Music Cats Love CD. She had purchased the CD through a catalog because she wanted to play it for cats that she rescues. A particular cat she was taking care of (it had been shot with an arrow …ouch) was on the mend and she told me the CD is better than any medicine she gives it. It really calmed the animal down and the cats loves it. Such a wonderful phone call and so glad I could provide some help for her animals.

Due to many requests I have just released an intermediate piano book for my CD “The Journey Continues”. I even printed on a larger 12×9 page size to make it easy to read. Let me know what you think of it.

Recently I was promoting my music at a outdoor show in Wisconsin and an area website host from myhometownsports.com did a impromptu interview in my booth. Go here to listen to it. You can here my music in the background as we talk.

The Weather Channel CD, that features my song Fridays Child (from my CD Hear The Masses), has charted on the Billboard Contemporary Jazz charts at #20 after only 9 days since its release! Hopefully this is only the beginning.

It seems radio stations have been playing my two Singapore compilation CDs I released on Orange Music. Recent radio playlists show a significant rise in plays over the end of 2007 and into 2008. I receive airplay lists every quarter that show where my music is being played and by whom. There are basically 3 companies that track this; BMI, ASCAP, and SESAC. I belong to BMI and they send my reports. The reports are always behind as it takes time to calculate. I just received my reports for the end of last year and the songs being played today will be on my report at the end of 2008. The reports are broken into catagories like internet, commercial radio, college radio, subscription services, etc.. I also had songs played in Japan, Switzerland, and the UK.

Its officially in the stores today. Dragged out this photo I took when I was recording and mixing the song Fridays Child, that is included on the new Weather Channel CD. As you can see I had everything I owned plugged in, and it is quite a mess of chords. Gotta love the technology.
Here is the official press release for the CD.

Get it at Amazon.

Here is a blast from the past. A photo from my “personal” collection of us preparing for the famous LIVE video and CD from Greece. This was taken right after a soundcheck before the first show.
